HAPPY HALLOWEN!!!!!
Dear students,
SORRY!!!!!!. Se me rompió el ordenador. But I'm here now. On Thursday and Friday you studied some vocabulary about HALLOWEEN. We reviewed the ABC and you learned how to ask:
WHAT'S........IN SPANISH?
HOW IS IT PRONOUNCED? or HOW DO YOU PRONOUNCE IT?
WHAT DOES.......MEAN?
On Friday we studied the PLURAL. In English there are 4 rules for the plural:
1. We add -S to the singular. For example: SPIDER SPIDERS
2. We add -ES to words ending in -S, -SS, -SH, -CH, -X, . For example: BUS BUSES
3. The words that end in -Y: They change Y for -I and we add ES. For example: BABY BABIES
4. The words that end in F:They change in V + ES. For example: HALF HAVES
REMEMBER: There are PLURALS in English that are IRREGULAR:
MAN - MEN
WOMAN - WOMEN
PERSON- PEOPLE
CHILD - CHILDREN
On Tuesday we continue with the PLURAL.
