Hi. How are you?. Today we studied THERE IS and THERE ARE. They mean HAY in Spanish.
AFFIRMATIVE FORM: THERE IS
NEGATIVE FORM: THERE ISN'T
INTERROGATIVE FORM: IS THERE?
AFFIRMATIVE FORM: THERE ARE
NEGATIVE FORM: THERE AREN'T
INTERROGATIVE FORM: ARE THERE?
We use THERE IS in the SINGULAR and THERE ARE in the PLURAL.
EXAMPLE:
There is a table
There are tables
Open your book on page 16.
WHAT'S YOUR JOB? (¿Cual estu trabajo?/ ¿En qué trabajas?
I'm A teacher
HOMEWORK: Go to page 16. do exercise 1a and exercise 3.
