Today we checked the homework and we did a lot of oral activities where we practiced I LIKE, I DON'T LIKE, I HATE, I LOVE + -ING. We also did oral activities using CAN. I gave you photocopies with vovabulary related with MUSIC INSTRUMENTS and SPORTS and I also gave you a photocopy with vocabulary about different things we can watch on TV.

Then we woeked with the book and we did exercises 1 a, 2 a and 3 b. We read the story about Susan. WE reviewed the use of THERE IS/ISN'T/ARE/AREN'T. We also review the interrogative sentence IS THERE? ARE THERE?. We did exercise 4 a and b and exercise 5 a.

SOME

We use SOME (algunos/as)in afirmative sentences with the plural: There are SOME museums in Pueto del Rosario.

ANY

We use ANY (algún/a) in negative and interrogative sentences in plural:

There aren't ANY supermarket in Puerto del Rosario.

Are there ANY banks in Puerto del Rosario?

A

We use A(un/una) in afirmative and negative sentences in singular:
There is A supermarket in Puerto del Rosario.

There isn't aA supermarket in Puerto del Rosario.

HOMEWORK:

Go to page 47 and do exercise 6a. Then go to page 48 and do exercise 1a. Finally, go to page 53 and in REVIEW do exercises 1, 2a,3,4a and b.
