Today you learn how to say when your birthday is.
WHEN 'S YOUR BIRTHDAY?
My birthday is ON 22nd MAY.

To say when your birthday is you have to use the preposition ON. and you have to use the following numbers:
1st first, 2nd second, 3rd third, 4 fourth...... You have this information on page 66 exercise number 2 a. You also have this information on page 115. Pay attetion to exercise number 3 on page 66. These questions are really important.

HOMEWORK: I gave to you a photocopy with a reading activity. Read the text and write the right heading for each paragraph. Then I gave you another photocopy with questions. You have to answer the questions about YOU. Write long sentences for the answers.

DON'T FORGET THAT YOU HAVE TO REVIEW THE LIST WITH THE VERBS EVERY DAY.

Today I gave you a photocopy with the verb list that you ahve to study. You write sentences in affirmative, negative and interrogative with the verb of the first page.

HOMEWORK: You have to write affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences with the rest of the verbs from the list.

For example:

I always write emails at night.

He doesn't take the bus in the morning.

Where do you drink water?

Look the links about the verbs in Present Simple. There are one link in the listening activities where you get the explanation about how to make affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences. Then you have another with the pronunciation of the verb in SIMPLE PRESENT and SIMPLE PAST(we're goin to study the simple past after Carnival holidays but you have them there to start getting familiar with them).In the grammar activities you have the link about Presnt Simple where you can find again examples with affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences).

Dear Students. Today I gave you the results of your exams.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

You did some activities from the book. With the group from 4pm till 6pm we had time to check them. But with the group from 6pm to 8pm, we'll check them next Tuesday. Please review all the things we have been studied until now. There are new listening activities about the family, daily routine, the time, etc. Listen to them but also do other activities from the blog. You can also write about your daily routine and the things yo like or don't like doing on the blog (see the example).

LIKES AND DISLIKES

What do you like doing in your free time?
What do you like doing at weekends?

We studied the daily routine and together with the daily routine and using the PRESENT SIMPLE you can talk and write about the things you like doing or the things you don't like doing.

I LIKE GOING TO THE CINEMA.
I DON'T LIKE PLAYING FOOTBALL.

After the verb LIKE you have to use a verb ending in -ING or a NOUN.
For example:
I LIKE WATCHING TV (verb ending in -ING)
I LIKE CHOCOLATE (noun)

REMEMBER:
We're using PRESENT SIMPLE so DON'T FORGET:

SHE/HE LIKES READING BOOKS.
SHE/HE DOESN'T LIKE WATCHING TV.
